Hearing Called Regarding Beleaguered King/Drew
The Los Angeles
County Board of Supervisors has called a special meeting for the
purpose of holding Beilenson Hearings regarding Martin Luther King/Drew
Jr. Medical
Center. The hearing will be held Monday, Nov. 6 at 9:30 a.m. in
Room 381B of the Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration, 500 W. Temple Street
in Los Angeles. Beilenson hearings are open to the public and required
by state law when reductions are proposed in health services.
